Brad Pitt's Daughter Confirms What We All Suspected!

In May 2024, Shiloh Jolie-Pitt, the 18-year-old daughter of Brad Pitt and Angelina Jolie, legally changed her name to Shiloh Jolie, formally dropping her father's surname. This decision was finalized shortly after her 18th birthday, with court documents indicating that she filed for the name change on May 30, 2024.

Shiloh's choice to adopt her mother's surname exclusively aligns with similar decisions made by her siblings. Her younger sister, Vivienne, was credited as "Vivienne Jolie" in the Broadway production of "The Outsiders," where she served as a production assistant. Additionally, her older sister, Zahara, introduced herself as "Zahara Marley Jolie" during a sorority event in November 2023.

The Jolie-Pitt family has been under public scrutiny due to the prolonged and contentious divorce proceedings between Brad Pitt and Angelina Jolie, which began in 2016. This ongoing legal battle has reportedly strained Pitt's relationships with his children, potentially influencing their decisions to distance themselves from his surname.

While Shiloh has not publicly disclosed her reasons for the name change, the timing and context suggest a desire to assert her individual identity amidst familial complexities. This development highlights the personal challenges faced by children of high-profile divorces and their efforts to navigate their identities in the public eye.
